Ground pork from wholefoods is my new ground beef. What do I mean by this? I mean I used to use ground beef all the time for everything. Stews, Chilis, burgers, meatloaf, curries. The grassfed 90% from wholefoods is lean and not very falvorful. So it ends up making dishes taste the same. I have started using the ground pork and it is amazing. It soaks up the flavor of items and keeps in the fridge much better than GB (turns brown). So many recipes out there for homemade sausage and my favorite chorizo. SO yummy.
The cooking vehicle in the above picture is my new Staub enameled cast iron dutch oven. It's huge. It's expensive. It's awesome. Lifetime warranty. Worth the investment. Especially for those that dont like to or can't cook (consider working at that skill). You can do one pot meals and slow cooked meats easy and breezy.
